I'm in. One, tent camping, unless I can talk the missus into joining me for her first rally. If she joins in on the fun, we'll be "motelling" it.

Re: BURP 2019
Will requires reservations now? When I camped there, he had a laissez-faire policy of allowing the rider to set up his tent, then paying.DneprTim wrote: ↑Tue May 14, 2019 10:13 pmThe 2019 BURP rally will be held July 12-14 at the beautiful Willville Motorcycle Campground located less than a mile off the Blue Ridge Parkway near Meadows of Dan, Virginia.

I'd love to BURP, but it's a six hour tow each way (and longer than six if I obey the posted limits, which maybe wasn't the case on that rocket Kawasaki.)

Thinking...

I hope your thoughts lead to attendance.Thinking...
While the C.R.A.P. is fun for the potluck, games, and large turnout, I've got a sweet spot for the B.U.R.P., with the Blue Ridge Parkway and Willville.

Re: BURP 2019
The BRP, at least in the vicinity of Willville, does seem custom tailored for the mission brief of the Ural. Keeping the reins tight on the big Versys was actually a bit frustrating.
I am thinking, Chad.
DneprTim -- any clarity you can provide on the necessity of reservations, or not, for BURP will be appreciated. TIA. I called the campground, but went straight to voicemail.

Re: BURP 2019
There IS something about Willville at 11 at night as you see the milky way shine above the trees! That is worth staying up for! 6 hour drive for me, but I love it!
