Looking at a 2009 Patrol

Post by ZUki » Tue Mar 15, 2016 12:48 am

I have been looking for quite a while, Finally found a 09 in my price range. Spoke with the seller for quite a while the other night. Thinking of taking some time off to go take a look. It's about 4 hours away.

24,000 km the clock.
rebuilt alternator
extra set of tires and different windshields
Has all paperwork
Seems very well maintained.
No final drive failures
Includes trailer

Owner is asking $7,000. Does this seem high even if it is in excellent condition?

Thanks!

Looking forward riding something different!

09 is the best year. :) Sounds like a good deal on paper. If we knew your location someone may be able to look at it with you.

$7000 for an 09 Patrol and trailer seems like a reasonable deal, especially if the bike is well maintained.

If in great condition thats a very good price. With the addition of a trailer as a bonus.

+1
Don't sit on the fence too long. If it's in good condition I'd guess that bike will be gone fairly quickly. At least go look at it and test ride it.

Larry,

Hang in there and keep looking. I got lucky last week and picked up a 2008 Patrol with 5,392 k's on the meter for $5,094 out the door. Looks about showroom fresh. Good deals do happen but you better be ready to jump when you find one. I owned this machine 15 minutes after I learned about it and that included a 4 mile drive.

Best,

Jeff

I notice you list Rapid City as your location...well this really IS your lucky year.

Two of us Ural owners from Texas will be staying at Glencoe for the rally in early August. I know you are familiar with the rally, but if you have never ridden a Ural around Sturgis durring Bike Week, you are in for a real treat.

UDF is off the charts during the rally!
