Now I can't get it to hang in safari no matter how hard I try... got it to hang once and then real slow on a reload but aside from that, nothing.... really weird.

PM me if you are still having safari issues. I will try again tomorrow. I have tried hundreds of clicks on posts, pictures, and pm's. hung once and had one slow page load. Seems like safari has a hitch a slow the 20-25% load but just for a fraction of a second.

Only time I can get it to hang is using the quick reply not full editor. But not consistently...

John, I very much appreciate you tenacity in trying to get to the bottom of this issue. It may be something that I need to deal with, at least for the time being.

Our web host did upgrade some of the services and php databases about 6 weeks ago but I can't see where that would be an issue. How often is it happening to you? I can't seem to replicate it as a persistent problem, maybe 1 out of every 100 clicks at best.

I cannot recall a time in the past several months that it did not happen. It happens on both my iPhone and Mac.

I think this is a Apple device and only this forum problem. Don’t see any where else when using safari. Also see the same issue using the Google App.

Agree and I probably should not have been reading this thread, just happened to me. I read a couple posts and then replied to one. When I tried to go to the next "new" one it loaded about 25% then hung-up. While on the page I quit and then immediately re-launch Safari and it came up ironically right here at this thread, HaHa.

Seems to be a Safari (I have not tried anything else yet) and only this web-site. I'll try firefox tomorrow. Needles to say it does not happen anywhere else so I'm guessing something I have is updated but not playing nice with the updated php/ss site. Annoying but not terrible.

I have opened a support ticket with the web host concerning this issue. I'm not sure if it's a hosting issue or a problem with the phpBB forums software. I will keep you updated.

Well John, I have it frequently and I´m using windows 10 pro with firefox. I click through the posts and randomly every 4th ot 10th or 2nd click it hangs up. I then wait until it stops loading, click again and it´s ok and swift loading. I was thinking of too much traffic on the site and didn´t bother. But it would fit into this problem.

Yeah, switched to Firefox temporarily and still happens after a few clicks. In fact ironically clicking onto this thread just now so it's not a Safari thing. As I stated before it's not terrible, just annoying. Similar to Claus I thought it might be because of too much traffic, kinda fits into that category yet how many folks actually are members or cruise thru this site anyway. Not thousands at the same time like on a Honda/Yamaha/Harley site.

I assume the forum was down (I could not open the forum´s site and after a day or so I had to lock on again). After that about every second or third click does not load. I have to wait for 20 sec or so and click again. Most of times it works then. Not annoying me to death but just wanted to report.

And: Thanks John and the other helpers for keeping this forum alive and going!
