On both my iPhone and MAC I have only a few clicks per visit to the forum before it locks-up. I sign-in, read one or two threads and then any subsequent attempt to visit a thread or post a response results in a spinning ball and then an error message. Been going on for well over a month. Does not happen on any other forum, including a forum that uses the same software as this forum.
Any ideas on fixing this problem?

Don't have that problem with my IPhone or Mac. Might be something in settings or cookies (I have no idea, just trying to sound tech-ish

I have the same thing happening on my iPad. Doesn’t matter if I’m signed in our not I can look at a couple of topics and then the server stops responding. Sometimes I can hit refresh and it will come back most times I just leave.

Since it appears that this is a somewhat rare phenomenon affecting Safari users, perhaps make sure that your web browser is up-to-date?
Maybe try an alternative browser?

Has the same problem. On all three of my Mac IOS devices (all current updates) even after cookie clean. Message was "server not responding". Attributed it to local traffic jam on my service providers equipment. Had a serious PIA with photos on the Gen II install thread. Only thing that worked was patience and back button.

Ah Haa, same thing just started happening with me too. I probably shouldn't have read this thread. MacBook Pro and using Safari.
I can sign-off and then sign on again and it sorta re-sets itself works fine. I'm not on enough the second time around to see if it "times out" (that's what it's like) again. Like a traffic jam. Something must have changed on the Apple-end or with this site recently I guess?

Just for grins let’s see if it’s on your end. With Mac, update your software. If that doesn’t do it try using Firefox instead of Safari. If that doesn’t do it I’ll contact,” Fearless Leader” (JohnBG) and see if there’s a bug on the forum server side.

I have Safari 13.1 on my Imac running Mojave 10.14.5, no problems with this forum running Safari, Chrome or Firefox.

I had the same problem on my iPad, I installed and use google chrome and the issue went away.
