Weird Unwanted Downloads

Over the past week or so, when I browse the subforums (usually when I go to something in Order of the Greasy Wrench), I'll get a popup saying that a download has occurred. It is always a tiny HTML file, and I always delete it without opening.

Anyone else?

I would also clear my browser history…

I’ve made a habit of clearing mine on a weekly basis… maybe overkill, but I figure it can’t hurt…

If you do not use the history function, you can set up your browser to dump your history every time you close your browser.

I also think it is a file that downloaded when you were on another website and pops up based upon some built-in instruction. Clear out all your temp files too.

I did clear my history files and temp files. So far, hasn't happened again.
