Got that right that is the same bike. I don't know, my "spidey" sense is tingling. A bike that sold for $20,000.00 last year is now for sale at $9,000.00? I mean, yeah, the guy could have lost his job and might be hurting financially, but to use a photo from last years Bring a Trailer ad?

Even has the same "ding" in the front fender.......and I wonder why he covered the ped slicer numbers with (what appears to be) white tape? Yeah, big-time "alert" buttons for me on this one.

Chances are, they had a shill or the seller bidding on the BAT auction, they got greedy and wound up with the high bid. When that happens they usually offer the item to the second bidder. The second bidder probably declined.
OR, whoever bid it up to $20k backed out for any number of reasons, a big one being the condition and authenticity of the machine . Again oftentimes auction houses will then offer the item to the second bidder, if they did, it was declined.
I’m no expert but $9k is probably closer to what it’s worth.
I’d be cautious in my dealings with the seller.

I'm no 1939 BMW expert, but I could swear that's a Ural tub mounted on there. The trunk release handle is wrong, the tonneau cover loops are wrong, and it has the "wraparound" second section of sheet metal floor on the bottom.
Of course, I might be mistaken about the tub floor...
