Equalean sidecar - $400

Post by Lmo » Sun Apr 22, 2018 7:00 pm

NOT MINE - Sierra Village, CA (NorCal)

Don't even know why I'm posting it, other than it's because a blast from the sidecar past; 1975-1984.

Appears to be an Equalean (leaning sidecar)' 270+/- built by Wally Wilick.

Really rough condition

To make this fit a Ural requires how much work...? I like the look of this...

Well, I'd be willing to put this on other things as well. To be honest, I like the sound of a BMW R1200GS with sidecar.

I think equalean and flexit are related, different body style, Had a flexit on my K for a short while, decided it was too weird. Besides the leaning the biggest novelty was the motorized sliding canopy, great for riding with an excitable Labrador.

Depends on the Flexit, the originals from the early 20th Century were truly "innovative", yeah, that's the word...

If it is all there, mounting it on a Ural would be a matter of getting the right clamps and either welding or bolting them on and mounting. Fun part would be post install set up... Looks like its gone now...
