Beautiful rig and since the seller says he's buying a new (last edition I guess) retro he apparently had good experience with it.
If I was looking to get into a used one this would be a contender. Distance shouldn't matter for all you Fence-Sitters out there looking but use that as an excuse. Decent asking price too.
Only negative... too nice to take off-road. Classic look.

"Only negative... too nice to take off-road."

I don't want to take it off road, the problem is he is on the left coast. But, I really want EFI anyway when I get my next rig.

Ha. Actually that negative was also meant to be a positive... too nice to take off-road.

Looking at the User Profile of the OP Seller. Not one post in 3 years. I'd take that as a positive.

I kind of figure no pressing problems with his ownership.

This is a cruiser, not a dirt bike. The Retro is longer, wider, and lower than the other Ural models. It has a completely different frame which is one reason they are dropping it and the M-70 this year.

I forgot why I signed up three years ago, I may have been looking for something. I'm the second owner of this bike, the first owner died a month after buying the bike new from Ski at TriQuest Motorcycles. He bought it back from the mans widow. It had 227 km on it when I got it, and I've owned it ever since. I've done all the service on the bike.

Don't discount the EFI. I went over the Rockys at 12,500 feet and the poor old carbs were drowning in gas. If I had had EFI like all the other bikes with a computer running it, I would have been in third gear instead of first.

Yeah, I was kidding. Unfortunate about the first owner though, hope he got to enjoy another Ural before he passed...200 KM wasn't much enjoyment. :(
