Advmotorally in W. Virginia

Anyone attending this rally in W. Virginia at the end of September? Planning on attending....not on the Ural mind you....but on the Triumph. Nothing says a Ural couldn't be there.

It is roughly 900KM/550M...give or take.

A buddy and I are going to take our time going down....US220 etc. Leaving Ottawa on the Wednesday. Dean may be coming as well on his KTM1190R.

We booked the 3-day rally...no training.

Be great to see ya Youtube star!! :)

Do you have a skid plate on your WeeStrom? I ride a lot of back roads/trails with my neighbour and the bike does very well, but the skid plate has saved him many times.

Ottowa...couldn't remember. Thanks.

I have always wanted to ride in WVA. Before I owned my Ural, I was planning to do the Hatfield McCoy Trails on my DR350, but my buddy broke his back at work and that sidelined that trip...

Someday perhaps.

Mainly because I don't have my DR350 anymore :(

I have actually been looking at some DR650s around here. :D

But probably won't have one by then. Thinking about a rifle instead... :machinegun:

The pipeline break was in Alabama, kinda to be expected, and oddly enough has been repaired...and has the price of gas come down, uh, no...happy travels. Working stiff again, no vacation yet and that is really starting to suck...
