I'm late reading this. See you all at Yahala.
2002Ural, You go to the far South end of the Flea Market down Tomoka Farm Road. Go in the road at the very south end of the market grounds.
You'll see us along the south fence on the way in to the gate.

Just got back from Daytona yesterday but attending this event was one of the highlights of the week for me. Especially being able to put a few faces to their on-line monikers. Marty was kind enough to meet me and one of my buddies over at the Speedway entrance to lead us to the Swap-Meet/Campground area which was under 10 minutes away. We were riding 2 wheelers so couldn't park over by the trikes and sidecars. A nice, hot & sunny day. Perfect for pick'in motorcycles and parts. After days and days of all the newest gear and equipment it was nice to see so much old crap/gold all around. And some interesting rigs as well. Some Pix:

Tom on his pristine 2007. Has sort of inspired my to put my original Hunter Green tin back on my dusty Patrol.

Marty and my buddy Chris. Small world that they had worked together on an annual event-project in NY but never meet before.

I don't know what this was which makes it even cooler to me.

Nice Red Ural.

Way across from the sidecars on the other side of the field there was a young guy and his girlfriend doing a stuntshow. Risking life and limb for tips.

A gaggle of Urals.
IMG_2461.JPG
As we were leaving I saw another 3 Urals coming in. Here's one of them. Out on the road I think I saw Gene riding in as well.

This area by the fence had portable johns on one side, a tent with a band on the other and food and drinks in front. And shade. Well thought.

Always a fan of the odd and eccentric:

A Wrench-Chair. Came this way or unassembled.

Wait for it...

Certainly one of the more "out there" home-made vehicles.

Just in case you are interested. It came from Long Island, about 45 minutes from my house. Or at least where I live now if I ever thought of bringing such a beast home.
