Howdy,

Where are you (you guys) located in CT?
What do you ride, nothing in your signature? I'm in Westchester County, NY about 8 miles south of Greenwich.

Hi,

Not sure where all the Ural riders in CT are located. But hey it's CT - not the biggest state in the Union.

There's lots of nice roads north of I-84 in the northwest section of CT, which is not too far from Westchester county.

Also there are a few rallies in CT. Yankee Beemers holds one at Lime Rock race track in August. http://www.kenspring.com/ybnormal/events.html

Hope this helps.

I'm in Woodstock in the rural, northeast corner of CT within spitting distance of RI and MA.

Excellent riding around here, if any of you get out this way.

I'm in RI and have been around your area on the Beemer a few times. Once by accident on the T ( I like to sometimes just head out randomly, getting "lost" and then find my way back. With the T i forgot one important aspect. My GPS - the smart phone had a bit of an issue out there getting a signal; Once I saw signs for Pomfret, I was fine again). Stopped a few time at the 'Bean.

Will have to head out there with the Gaucho when she's a bit better sorted out.

My Ural lives in Bristol, CT, 20 miles west of Hartford. I work every weekend, making weekdays more likely to be available.
Still like Charlie Chaplin's 1940 talkie "The Great Dictator"; had to abandon it as the inspiration for the theme of my Ural's paint scheme. People can't seem to tell satire from support. Too much public education.

Well, the weather is perfect for a morning ride & I will let those of you who couldn't make it today, know how the "Meet/Greet" at O'Rourke's went and will even try to send/post a few pics.
I recognize how busy we all are with our families ( Iv'e got 4 children) and work, but just thought is might be fun to try and get a few of us URAL people together.

Enjoy the day

I just wanted to say thank you to those (6 total) that showed up at O'Rourke's Dinner. As a only having had my Ural for 2 years it was very nice to meet up with fellow riders.
After Labor Day, maybe we can try to organize a ride.
I will keep all of you posted.

Thanks again
