So lets be RATIONAL ! This is about 5 days of riding, off the superslabs. Thats not counting time out for oil changes and new tires !

So two weeks for the trip and a few days there.

Ya know!

.... This would be a good rally to finally begin the first annual Jousting event
http://www.sovietsteeds.com/forums/view ... =6&t=15198. I better calm down on challenging people. WTF Over is probably going to mop the floor with me anyway
Also,
We could finally raffle off Darmans bench seat or just begin to lay the foundation for a North American Ural Museum and have Darmans Bench seat as the first exhibit

I have 30 acres and there are many Ozark backroads that can be toured. we also have miles and miles of Mark Twain Nat forest as well as scenic roads such as the gladetop trail. There are campgrounds and motels and any number of possible sleeping scenarios. Somebody can sleep in my barn loft...I could clean out the ole camper....just sayin....

I like the idea of a national. So far as location...mid US sounds reasonable. Distance isn't an issue for me but "advance notice" can be. I don't have enough functioning brain cells left to help with organizing an event but would be up for showing up early/staying late to work the event, trash clean up whatever needed.
Hope this threads stays alive and someone can put it together. If it happens file me in the worker bee grunt labor volunteer drawer.

thats why i'm throwing the idea out now. trying to get a handle on how many would like to see this happen and show up.it's a pretty big commitment of time and money for alot of us. but what the heck ,be a good adventure.
