Things are shaping up and am getting the toy hauler ready to rock. We will be there on the 5th down around site 32 on the lake. Plan to stay for the week and do some local riding.

May I suggest that some of the rally funds are used to buy the central meeting site firewood since it’s expensive and we tend to go through a lot of it.

I have no rally funds. I was planning on doing the dinner for everyone on my own. And I paid for the site we'll be cooking and congregating on. But you may suggest it!

I have a stump here I can try to split and bring down. That'll be a start. My truck bed is too small to carry much.

My stump is no good. Too many year sitting on damp earth. But it looks like firewood will get taken care of.
Getting ready here and planning how I will cook that dinner soup and making the ingredient list for the shopping once there.

I have a big coffee pot to bring too.

No worries. Have electric at the tent site for coffee and a tent heater!

BTW. My wife made her home made Almond Biscotti to go with the fresh coffee!
Packing gear into the truck containers tomorrow!

OK. Settled on a good Russian Borscht recipe. It will involve sauteed beef, salt & pepper, shredded cabbage, carrots, onion, celery, butter and garlic, cumin and coriander, beets, beef stock, water, tomato sauce, dill and paprika.

I'll get some fresh bread to go with as well! The cooking show will take place all Saturday afternoon!

I have a nice new stove and a big cooking pot to use!

Truck and camper packed. Donna has double checked to see if I missed anything. Ready to roll out at 0600 tomorrow.

BTW I am bringing my old Ural tools from the 90's I carried for many years on my rig. I found it yesterday by my propane bottles on a shelf. Its got all the old Ural tools plus other stuff I added to help keep my old rig on the road during trips. It'll be available for inspection at the rally. All wrapped up in a heavy leather tool roll like I used to make in the 2000's.
