I would have loved to join you, but my daughter had other plans for me and my bike that day in Rumford Point.

Just a note to invite you all to the Northeast European Motorcycle Rally at the Jordan Grand at Sunday River in Newry, Maine on the last weekend in July. Google Northeast European Motorcycle Rally for details.

Haven't rode up there in about 20 years, long story, and really didn't have the chance to get much in while there being the father of the bride. I will be making a point to get back there.

Anyone want to put together a ride for next week/weekend in the VT NH area? I would be glad to ride up for a day.

All right! I'm sort of confined to the weekends for riding in winter with the exception of the week between Xmas and new years. What works for you guys? Any suggestions for a route?

You know me... I’m up for anything, anytime. (Except this weekend...going down to DC to finish up the closet.)

Ok, so, how about next weekend? Dec 15 or 16? I can do either day. Lots of good riding around here or I'd be more than willing to meet halfway.

Works for me!

Looking at the map, New Milford is roughly an hour’s ride from home for each of us. Anyone know of fun roads around there?

If not, I’m happy to head further north to Andy's neck of the woods.

I already know I am off from work next Saturday, Dec. 15th so I can join you guys too.

So just throwing this out there… I do like riding that New Milford area of CT. Particularly Brookfield as I'm up at MAX BMW at least once or twice a year to drop off a bike or just an excuse to take a nice ride in CT. but not too far.

Max has a great showroom to get warm in and they always have antique and restored bikes on display and for sale. There is also an Indian and a Harley dealer within 10-15 minutes of Max as well though I have never been in either of them.

Almost across the street from HD is the famous Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana (since 1925) in Danbury. There are a few Pepe locations now but this is the original. If you have not been, you have not had pizza as in Italy. Barely round.

Looks like I'd be the furthest away:
New Rochelle to Brookfield= 53 miles. So the ride up there and back will probably be the scenery for me. Almost an hour on 2 wheels. 15 minutes more or 3.
Hamden= 53 miles
Colebrook= 50 miles
Stamford= 46 miles
New Milford= 8 miles

Meet at Max or Pepe’s at noon? Eat and then ride around a bit?
Or ride and then get warm and eat? Doesn’t matter to me.

Right now the forecast (yeah I know, it's a week away) is 50 & rain. We'll see what happens.

Ride I did last April. Excuse (to myself) was buying crush washers for the /2:
