Simple for you and him!!! I’m still trying to figure out the 5-6 shims, washers that fit behind the kick starter!

Great video, I’ll need to rewatch that 857 times to try to figure it out but definitely is extremely interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Combine this video with Van’s video on how the transmission works/shifts and finally read through MyUral.com and it will all make sense.

Note he could have done it 8 minutes, as he wastes 2 minutes by forgetting to put a shaft back in during reassembly. :D

Personally I'm impressed how simple it is, lends credence to the idea of a military style quick-fix "in the field" type of thing, I could have a go at that, there are way more complicated motorcycle gearboxes out there.

That, and also because I need to. It's on the RPOC Project to-do list.

noticed he didn't show the output shaft nut being removed/you know the dreaded grinding down of a 22mm socket. Mr. Waz knows all about that issue. :boogie:

Waiting with baited breath to see a comment from Gobium as to the worthiness of the video. just seems to good to be true, of course the real work might be getting the trans to the table and back.

Taking a tranny out is simple. Taking the swing arm off can be troublesome. Go to myUral.com

that's why the dining room table was invented, makes a great work bench in a heated location. The box in the kitchen (the heated one, not the one that's cold inside or the one with all the water) makes a good paint drying oven. If you have a wife, disregard, rules change then

ural vids or online manual is nothing more than tools,
like a hammer, it works both ways defending on how you use it and your capabilities.
