one cylinder

Woe unto you that bought the first model year of a major remake, perhaps this section can help address any 2014 and later model Ural "imperfections". Here's a special section for folks with the latest rigs to discuss 2014 and later model-related topics such fuel injection, 3-wheel disc brakes, hydraulic steering dampers, spin-on oil filters and other anomalies that don't belong on true Russsian motorcycle ;-P We've gone from using big hammers and greasy wrenches to needing computers and Ouija boards in order to fix our rigs.

Please keep this section specific to issues pertaining to 2014 and later models such as fuel injection, sidecar and rear disc brakes and so forth. Ask general or non-2014 and later specific questions in the main Hammerin' & Wrenchin' section.

Very slim.

I've think we've run out of ideas hence no replies lately. :(

Trouble is we're trying to diagnose from a distance, can't look at it up close. All we can go by is what you're tellng us.

Personally I think whatever went wrong the first time, is still in there. Maybe it is wetness related. Sometimes it dries enough so everything works. Then it gets wet again and everything stops working. Maybe the wetness damaged an electronic component. I'm just guessing wildly. :(

Silly question time – you do know it will never start if you hold the throttle open?

If it's not wet anymore...the battery is good, ground is good?
Spark plug wires are within resistance specs?
Are Ignition switch, kill switch good?
Could be CPS sensor, sensor to flywheel gap (0.1 to 0.17mm), engine management throttle bodies...

Engine management diagnostics tool reading?

Read the whole topic again from the beginning. We must be missing something but I don't know what.
while swerving to miss a tree in middle of road
Something happened here that started it all but I don't know what. Apart from an insane amount of water.

Any chance of getting any error codes read from the ECU's?

I have had a vaguely similar problem with a 2014 for the last 3 years. Finally no spark no fuel pump. After trying checking all I could think of using patch leads etc. I gave up and took it to the Australian importer 700kms away. It turned out to be a loose contact on relay1. So try disconnect and clean these connections. Good luck hope this helps.

That's a good point. All the contacts in my 3 relay sockets were very poor, almost loose. I had a developing starting problem, currently I have relays 1 & 2 removed and bridged direct with wires. Also had to tighten up the socket connectors where those wires plug in. Needs looking at more thoroughly, on the to-do list.
