I may need a new clutch

Woe unto you that bought the first model year of a major remake, perhaps this section can help address any 2014 and later model Ural "imperfections". Here's a special section for folks with the latest rigs to discuss 2014 and later model-related topics such fuel injection, 3-wheel disc brakes, hydraulic steering dampers, spin-on oil filters and other anomalies that don't belong on true Russsian motorcycle ;-P We've gone from using big hammers and greasy wrenches to needing computers and Ouija boards in order to fix our rigs.
Forum rules
Please keep this section specific to issues pertaining to 2014 and later models such as fuel injection, sidecar and rear disc brakes and so forth. Ask general or non-2014 and later specific questions in the main Hammerin' & Wrenchin' section.

Well it runs right. I don't know what I did, but I got the engine to idle like it is supposed to.
Now back to the original problem.
It may be the gearbox...
When putting a load on 3rd gear it is like it is jumping in and out. Now it is making a grinding noise....
I think I will wait and take it to the dealer....

So I finally tore into the transmission. I found the 3-4 shifting fork was worn and the shifting sleeve was really worn. I have ordered new parts.

How many km's on the gearbox?

Mine did the same thing at somewhere around 45000 kms.

I do not know why. Everything else looks fine. The wear is indicative of the symptoms. Maybe at one time the gearbox was low on oil???

Doubtful on the low oil assumption.

As I am aware of today, this is the fourth 2014 gearbox that has had this same problem.

Hopefully that is the only problem.
