2014 Ural Parts List

Woe unto you that bought the first model year of a major remake, perhaps this section can help address any 2014 and later model Ural "imperfections". Here's a special section for folks with the latest rigs to discuss 2014 and later model-related topics such fuel injection, 3-wheel disc brakes, hydraulic steering dampers, spin-on oil filters and other anomalies that don't belong on true Russsian motorcycle ;-P We've gone from using big hammers and greasy wrenches to needing computers and Ouija boards in order to fix our rigs.
Forum rules
Please keep this section specific to issues pertaining to 2014 and later models such as fuel injection, sidecar and rear disc brakes and so forth. Ask general or non-2014 and later specific questions in the main Hammerin' & Wrenchin' section.

Thanks.

The nipples are a bit larger with the NAPA filter....I dunked the ends in clean gasoline to help the filter mate to the tubing....takes a little english but it goes on and fits the OEM tubing

I also found it easier to drain the tank from the fuel filter tubing, pre-fuel pump. Unlike what the Ural manual recommended.

I thought I would have to re-prime the gas tank after the filter swap, but she started right up!

No need to drain the tank. Buy a couple of fuel line pliers and you can clamp off the lines on either side of the filter and then change it out

Speedbleeders:

Front Caliper - SB8125..........M8 x 1.25mm x 27.99mm long
Rear Caliper - SB8125...........M8 x 1.25mm x 27.99mm long
Sidecar Caliper - SB1010S......M10 x 1.0mm x 31.35mm long

Speed bleeders are new to me. Is it just a case of removing the nipple and screwing the speed bleeder in place?

Do they work as well as they claim on the website?
Is it more fun riding or fixing in the garage?

Technically it is that simple, however, you will have to bleed the brakes afterwards.

That Napa Gold filter doesn't look gold to me. Lol

Thia is a great thread. Could the original post be updated with all the extra findings?

Had mail ordered two off Mann W 75/3, arrived today.

Boxes identical, but one filter is marked 'W 75/3', the other as 'W 7003'.

So W7003 & W75/3 are the same animal! Not sure if this means 75/3 is changing to 7003, but anyway might help with Internet searches etc.

HTH

PS (edit): think I've seen 7003 coming up several times during previous such searches.
