Fuel in oil Ural CT

Woe unto you that bought the first model year of a major remake, perhaps this section can help address any 2014 and later model Ural "imperfections". Here's a special section for folks with the latest rigs to discuss 2014 and later model-related topics such fuel injection, 3-wheel disc brakes, hydraulic steering dampers, spin-on oil filters and other anomalies that don't belong on true Russsian motorcycle ;-P We've gone from using big hammers and greasy wrenches to needing computers and Ouija boards in order to fix our rigs.
Forum rules
Please keep this section specific to issues pertaining to 2014 and later models such as fuel injection, sidecar and rear disc brakes and so forth. Ask general or non-2014 and later specific questions in the main Hammerin' & Wrenchin' section.

Also, it just occurred to me, if that much gas is going thru then the mpg will be pants. :?: Should be very noticable.

Motor is toast, it’s knocking.

Got a 20 min ride in today, before she decided 2019 wasn’t for her. :(

Ugh, Crap that sucks. Kinda wish (me) you didn't start it and drive it again. I would have trailered & dumped it right at the dealer or shops doorstep.

Sorry.

Be nice to know the cause. Bad QC or bad mechanic(s).

Let me say again, that sucks.

It spent a whole day at the shop, and they checked everything. I was there with them, nothing more they could have checked. Ural HQ said to just ride it and keep an eye on things . .

Well, it's on them then. I'd be fuming. I'd sure like to know what shop NOT to go to ever.

Like finding out you might have diabetes but "why don't you keep eating candy bars to make sure". Terrible diagnosis.
What is your next step?

And this is a 2015, right?

I don’t blame the shop at all, they literally checked everything.

Compression was 150, Ural HQ said it should be 170 but to keep running it and check oil consumption, and if it gets really bad they will have new rings tossed in.... Its making hardcore lower end knocking noises, so the whole motor will need to be rebuilt.

Yes it’s a 2015.

My replacement list in 10,000km...

8-10 rubber donuts
Two driveshafts
One speedo gear
One output shaft
Steering damper
Final drive
Rear wheel
3 nose cones for the driveshaft
All pushrods
Now a whole motor

This thing is a pile. I’ve been beyond patient with this thing, and have treated it well yet it still breaks constantly.

Holy CRAP! I have a similar list on MY 2015, but I abuse the Scheiße out of my bike. Most of my issues were caused by ME. A well-loved and cared-for '15 shouldn't have that long of a list! I'm sorry you have to deal with this. 😕

Yeah it stinks. These things are not cheap in bike terms, and it’s just one thing after another. I have absolutely zero faith in this thing, and many trips have been ruined because of it. I probably have close to $1,000 in just tow bills from this heap.

I forgot to add a gas tank to the list, and probably a few other things I’ve forgotten.

Man, I thought I went through hell with my first one, but you definitely have been dealt a worse hand and are taking it much better than I did. A few questions if I may.

Why did you replace the pushrods and gas tank?

Gas tank was bubbling from the first time I put gas in it. Eventually it got really bad, and went way past the cap. Looked awful.

Oh yeah pushrod seals were puking oil, and when the heads were off the pushrods were showing a lot of wear.
