Now that’s funny. I wonder if when posting Uralnut60 thought, “Can’t put my finder on it, but this sounds familiar?”

The MABDR is something I would be interested in attempting once I get my Patrol up and running again.

I rode the whole MABDR south to north from Damascus to NY state in July with 5 friends. Now granted, I was not on the Ural. BUT, I think the majority of it is doable. And with a GPS, there are workarounds. Some sections would be sketchy due to the width of the Ural vs the trail and the drops. And the BDR has a couple of "hero" sections that I wouldn't want to do on a Ural. Both have go-arounds. In fact, we ran into a guy riding a Ural through Bald Eagle SP solo.

I actually plan on running it on my new Ural as a challenge and think it will be a fun trip. Its beautiful backcountry with full days spent riding on forest roads. It was a great trip.

Recycled, Uraldude and I rode a chunk of the MABDR in PA from Mt Holly Springs to McVeytown.
It was largely gravel forest roads and a fair amount of pavement along the way.
It wasn’t very challenging and was largely boring.Could have done it in a car, no off-road vehicle needed.
We found more challenging and rewarding stuff riding around Bald Eagle last summer.
