2 years with my cT

Post by Mike_from_Germany » Sat Dec 14, 2019 8:30 am

Hi all,

time to have a short summary of 2 years and 10 thousand miles with my cT. I got it from a Romanain dealer in Bukarest, the first trip was 2500 miles to the place where I live in southern Germany.

Not more than 10 pictures allowed, so probably later more (if you want to see it).

Greetings Mike

Hi Mike,

Kempten is a great area and just minutes from some really great skiing. Spent quite a bit of time in the Garmiscsh-Partinkirchen ort and also down in Mittenwald. Just curious. There is a Ural dealer in Linz Austria thought there was also one in Munich but I could be mistaken. Why did you get the bike in Bucarhest? Other question I got. When you say miles do you actually mean kilometers? Bucarhest is a bout 1800 kilometers depending on the route. Great photos.

In what turned out to be a fit of somewhat measured insanity I just picked up the cT in Portland and went Aircraft Museum touring.

I had 2000 miles in when I got to Anchorage. I had a few hair raising close calls but I determined that I was just going to manage it and have fun and not worry about being an expert rider - that worked well.

Still learning to acualy ride it and much better. 50 mph was scary to start, 60 mph 850 miles in was short of terrifying, now 75 is just fine.

Looks like gypsies hauling some pallets. Must be in Rumania. The horse was probably surprised too seeing your Ural.
