The road dog got to see the bad dog
Thanks Cateye, embarrassingly easy New England winter and she’s definitely never bad! She gave this young man and his father a smile and photo to remember. Hopefully other riders are enjoying four legged company luck us...

It’s been way to easy, we had one snow ride. We’ve yet to have any sustained cold and today was extremely windy but warm again....

Looks like a couple of places I camped in the Cascades last summer, nice

The driveway is melting off so I hosed off some ice and the grunge and w@$#ed the cT down. Only rust is the rear rotor, front and side fine, odd. Some of that grunge in the fins, will see about cleaning it out. Get the studs out and or tires moved around and ready to ride. Our version of spring!

Seems like a waste of my 2wd this winter especially when you’re burning it up with your CT. I do look forward to some off road use as camping season kicks off.

Email exchange with a rider in Toronto and he feels the 2WD is an advantage. Maybe two different ways to skin a cat, studs work though I can see a snow deep enough that the lower cT and no 2WD winds up stuck. Certainly as much winter running I do the studs work well.

A plus is moving the tires to deal with the studs and the spare I found out how length a process a rear change is as well as a front hub shifting around not to mention the axle bolt was horsed in incredibly tight. I had the tools here to break free, impossible on the road.
