CL find- Honda CB 360 "Military" Sidecar

Post by BinDerSmokDat » Fri Aug 04, 2017 8:48 am

Not mine, Howell NJ.

I don't think this can even get out of it's own way...and that homemade "sidecar"...looks like plywood sides with curved sheet metal for nose, rear?

The hack wheel arm/frame looks like the rear of another cannibalized CB.
And shock absorber struts...for that comfort-glide ride.

I'm tempted to take a ride Saturday, just to see it in person.

I saw that thing on craigslist, it's some work of art, are you considering it to buy?
I have some friends in that area that are into Military vehicles, one of them even had a Military encampment on his farm, I thought that might be his.

Steering damper looks like it may have come off of a Kenworth. .. . !

It manages to be interesting but not appealing. Using shocks for the upper sidecar struts is a novel idea, but I am far from sure that it is a good idea. That much mass and wind resistance hung on a bike 1/2 the CC of a Ural would make a Ural seem like a dragster.
