1200 sqft! Geez! That is bigger than our house! My shop is just 20 x 28. Kinda like a large car and a half garage with just one garage door. But back when I was 27 and bought the place it looked huge and awesome to me!

I have a few wood seat bases and seat back sets I built hoping to make sidecar seats out of them. I could sell them as kits with a copy of the blueprint I made years ago to make scratch built Ural sidecar seats. You can can cut and form the flat stock to shape, glue foam to the wood and cover it yourself like I did for over 20 years. Any interest in that? Otherwise I'm gonna pitch all but one set. Just in case I buy another Ural rig someday. The wood base is built and polyurethaned. Seat back will need some holes drilled and T nuts installed to hold the flat stock hardware.
Shipping isn't cheap as they are heavy. I always used much better wood than Ural ever did. Mine are over twice as heavy/sturdy.
I'm thinking $25 plus actual shipping.

Let me box and weigh and look up the rate. I'll get back to y'all. These three sets will do it for me, the fourth is going on a storage shelf.

Shipping for one set to 72802 is $42

Shipping for 2 sets to 08005 is $35 (Much closer so lower rate, even on two sets)

I told you shipping ain't cheap. It's another reason I closed my business. Post office acts like you're buying an airline seat for your package. Let me know, They get binned Tuesday.

I don't need a seat, but that seems a fair price to me.
By time you find appropriate wood, cut it to size and seal it, you've got hours of time invested and you STILL need to get quality foam and vinyl or find a local shop.

These will need foamed and covers. But yeah, when I was in business I'd built 7 seat sets at a time to spread the costs. Make a mini production line. Can't do that anymore.

Tracking sent to both folks. As well as link to foam source and other useful info.

So that means they are gone. Please don't track me down ten years from now asking if there are any left! ;-)
That has happened a number of times over the years, that is why I bring it up.
If you DO see a ten year old thread with something for sale in it, DO TAKE THE TIME to scroll down and see if it sold! That takes WAY less time than tracking the seller down to ask if it is still somehow for sale.

Hey you never know Rich. I recently sold a 1959 Diamond T military wrecker that we used in our business for over twenty years. It had been available and advertised for sale for at least ten years. Out of the blue, a guy call’s me and wants to come look at it, he gets here, looks it over for about ten minutes and lays cash on me, then he looks around and bought two truckloads of parts too. I’m pretty sure he was planning to resell it to a museum, I wish he would come back and buy some more.

I’ve got to admit, I had a bit of an emotional moment when that truck left on the low bed.
I used that truck on many milestone projects where I really pushed the limits of my resources, equipment, and experience. I hated to see it go, but it was worse watching it deteriorate in the yard.
Anyway, sorry for the thread drift, and I agree, digging up a ten year old thread and trying to buy something is usually not the best thing to do.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do, Rich.

Happy trails,
Jaybird

Been cleaning out the shop. Almost have a 1/4 of it reclaimed! That also means I can access the overhead lights to take them down, eliminate the glass tubes and rewire them for LED tubes. My Guzzi is sold, but I still have the old RE to play with. Soon I'll actually have some space to work inside my shop instead of having to do so much on tables outside the garage door!
