Have had my 2015 come on a year. Used premium for quite awhile then put regular cannot tell any difference between the two.

Honestly, I hate the search function, it's quirky and doesn't always reveal the info I am looking for. I see no harm in anyone asking question, even if it has been asked 100 times before.

I use E10 with no trouble at all.
We may not have it all together,
But, together we have it all.

This is a "search" function that will work on vitally any website.

On the URL line type: site:sovietsteeds.com your question.

that's...

site:
the website name (with no space between the colon).com
space
your question

"your question" can be anything you want. you can even filter further (for example) using a poster name, or whatever. You don't even need to be in the website.

91 is the only ethanol free grade here and i have had E10 eat the insides of my carbs. i use 91 as a rule and only ethanol grades when forced.

Mr Wazzock wrote:You guys seem to have lower octanes than we do (UK) - our "regular" is 95 and "premium" (labelled as "super" or "ultimate") is 97 - dealer advised me to use the 97, "makes it a bit smoother and a bit more power", well possibly but is a very subtle difference.

On that side of the pond, they use ethenol?

Just make sure you are working with either RM Method or MM method when dealing with gasoline octane. For example 91 RM octane equates to 87 Octane In Canada and the US. They use a blended system to establish octane levels and you'll see the rm/2 often on the pump.

Most lower compression engines will run fine on regular fuel, and just follow the manufacturers recommendations.
