Replaced my 2011 horn by using the horn wires to operate a relay. Twin dual tone car horn powered through the relay from the battery. Scares the crap out of cagers.

Not sure where you mounted it, but if I had to mount one, I'd put it between the hack and the tub somewhere on the hack frame.
I'd like to, but that would take a complete re-work of the existing mounting bracket attached to the horn, which is rather thick steel and has a couple small curves in it. I found a place where it would bolt right to my fairing and doesn't look too odd, just had to take a small corner off the mount with a cutoff wheel.

Yeah, without photos, it never really happened.
You all simply imagined I did any work to it.

OK, I'll post pics of somewhat awkward looking horn placement and let the jury decide if it's got enough cool factor.

Photos of the horn replacement project....

I dunno, it looks okay I guess, but the "Sheng Fooie" seems wrong.

HaHa, great picture of the pup & horn. Was he shocked at the new sounds coming from it too?

No, I had it temped in/mounted the last year so she's used to the sound. In fact, if I honk it she comes running for a ride!

While I was taking the photos she jumped in the sidecar so I was like...Okay, you're in the shot too!
