Oh and yes the kickstarter will hit it, but it should start before you reach full travel anyway.
I can still kickstart my bike with mine installed.
Not same with efi

I reconfigured the kick lever on my Retro and it's still not as effective as the kicker on my GearUp but it still gets the job done, I have carburetors though.
The OP, having a fuel injected 2019 GearUp, might not care about the kickstarter, there was another member on here took his off completely, I'm sure he'll figure it out. He'd probably buy one of your footboards gobium if you made one for him, don't miss your chance!
It's good for people to know there are other options besides Raceway (No offence to Raceway, I own some of their products myself)

Nether of my other bikes have a kick start and it has never been an issue. I don't see myself letting the bike sit for an extended period of time causing the battery to drain. It sounds like there might be enough travel anyway? If I'm travelling I guess I keep a ratchet or something with enough torque in the bike to remove the bolts and start the bike. Fun? No but should do the trick.

Yup, that's what I have done. I got off the phone with the dealer an hour or so ago to go through the Ural of NE order. I'm getting all the crash protection I can for the bike and we added the skid plate this morning. It was reasonably priced so I figured why not get it? Sadly the reason I am getting all the protection is mostly to protect the bike when parked. I have had 2, yes 2 bikes knocked over in the last year when very legally parked and well out of sight. In both cases the drop protection saved a lot of damage. One was insurance and the other a hit and run. The hit and run was in my condo parking spot... The hit and run was unfortunately the BMW and I probably don't need to tell you guys how expensive even little parts can be for a BMW.

I know this is an old thread, but had a question. I would like to get the left foot box assembly. My question is which is the better of the two, NE at $539.05 which covers shipping and no tax or Raceway. or is there other options? Just for info I have a 2018 GearUp and just prefer more room to stretch out my leg/kinks.

I have not seen the one from Ural NE, but had the one from Raceway on my '06 Patrol. It was very well built. Please do a follow up on which one you choose as I am, too, interested for the same reason you are.

I decided to go with the New England one. It hurt to let go of that much money on something that took 3 dollars of materials. However, the guy that mention saving one from breaking his foot/toes got my attention. The NE one looked like it had better quality/strength. In the pics at least. NE had a sale going on it was down to $499.00 plus shipping. Shipping was $22.00 by phone (head guy), but on their website it quoted me $35.07. All bolt on. If I had a place and tools to make one I would, but I do not, so I sucked it up and spent the money.

I know I will feel better with something solid to set my foot on. My Vstar has the running boards and I really like them.
