No idea what changed in 08 bulb-wise, maybe call Ural NE and ask. As for the headlight they sell a H4 LED but you also need the Hella H4 headlight conversion to put it in. https://www.uralne.com/h4-led-headlight-bulb/

And if I remember correctly I read somewhere I need to install a diode? I assume that's what the pigtail is in the kit, would the hookups be different between an 06 and 08?

You would need a diode to have the indicators blink. I did not do that. I went with new straight forward bulbs. I am not an electrical genius.

FWIW, when I converted to LED I left the blinkers incandescent. Just didn't seem worth the hassle.

You can buy a cheap full wave bridge rectifier and put the two wires going to the indicator to the two AC inputs of the bridge and the DC outputs of the bridge to the LED indicator, it should work. It does on mine.
I may not be good, but I'm slow.

I bought a few cheap bridges from Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-Bridge-R ... 280678db27
You can help out several friends with them. Just crimp two male quick connects to the AC and two female QD to the DC and place in between the wires and the indicator. If you add short wires to the Bridge leads, it is easier to place out of the way. Don't forget to insulate the bridge leads. I used insulation I stripped off the wires I used to hook it up. Could have just taped them.
I may not be good, but I'm slow.

Like DOGBOY 443, I shopped for all my bulbs online (Ebay) if you know what is printed on the bulb you remove, you can figure out what you need.
I even bought a new Diamond Cut Reflector with a projector lens in it for $13. My COBB CREE HEADLIGHT BULB was $10. but most bulbs were under a dollar each, They even sell an LED flasher Unit to flash your directional for $3.
Only problem I had was rewiring my Tail/brake light as in 02 it was wired in reverse. Auto parts stores sell a new universal socket - EZ.
I got all/every bulb etc for under HALF of what retailers get (most came from China - but that's where the parts stores get them - before gouging)
