Stainless Fairing Made by......?

Post by IndyChizzle » Tue May 07, 2019 6:32 am

Does anybody know the history and manufacturer of these? They say Russian manufacturer and appear stainless or aluminum (seller says stainless).

Does anybody have any photos of one mounted on a modern Ural? I think it looks cool, but would love to see how it looks and fits.

I'm thinking I would need to buy a modern stainless fitment kit from Ural to make it work.

I have one on my 2003, I'm pretty certain it's aluminium rather than stainless just because of the lack of weight to it. I'll work out how to get a pic on here....

Ok, I've put a couple of pics on a blogspot I use for things like this, http://boristhednepr.blogspot.com/.

I bought mine from Chris Tomes of Vostok Motorcycles - top fella - carriage was a bugger cos it's so big. It was packaged AMAZINGLY by the girls at Vostok, no complaints at all. Mine didn't have fixings, I used the ones I already had for the plexi screen that was previously fitted to the bike.

Great to see this in place on a bike. We've seen it pop up before, the Robby the Robot windscreen.

Some additional "Chat" about shiney fairings over here;

Some of the ebay listing have expired, but I follow this seller and they seem to get some unusual (In N.A.) fairings and accessories.

Interesting how the bottom of this version is different than the one in my original post. I'd love to see more photos from the side or front corner view.

Wow, that fairing looks very aggressive and I like it a lot. I was going to hunt down a color matched one for my rig at some point, but this is making me want to rethink that.

I'd love for you to buy it, so I can see what it looks like mounted... Reminds me of a police fairing.
