Here's the end result. You can even see the dash lights.

Now for the fun. No instructions and mystery parts. The main hardware came on this card. Bottom edge indicates that the installation instructions are on the back. Yeah shure. Bonus parts in this mystery bag that was scotch taped to the card. The windscreen was well protected in a separate bag along with a small piece of plastic that acts as a rub strip. Here's the mystery parts. They're about half an inch long. Pre-assembly was pretty easy to figure out. Heres the screen with the bracing and rub strip installed. Install tip. The ball joint has allen screws to tighten it in place. The mount has round holes for the screws and square ones for the nuts. Make sure the round ones face outward when you mount them to the windscreen. This will make it easier to loosen them so you can flip the windscreen up for headlamp or bucket maintenance. Now for the PIA. The handlebar mounts didn't fit. They're designed to replace the front handlebar mounting bolts but the assembly doesn't fit. This photo shows that the bolts threaded portion is too short to compress onto the windscreen assembly mounting rod. The clamp has a recess for the bolt head (left side) but even if its turned over the spacer fits up into the recess (right side) with the same result. I left the spacer off on the right side so you can see the thread stopping just at the spacer. Essentially you run out of thread before you get any clamp pressure. I haul out a die and add a half an inch of thread. Put them in and they bottom out in the casting and I can't get them tight enough to hold.
