I've dropped a line to the factory since I'm not too far from them. Dunno if anything will come of it.

I don't think it's gonna make as much of an impact as you might think, but I've got a package of shocks in my shed from iKon that I'm hoping will prove me wrong. We shall see.
We... shall... seeeeeeeeee.......

Speaking of fitting shocks.. .. Van, could you link us to that video you made for the shock installation tool you built? Or was it just photographs? I can't locate it with search. Thx.

I've got a shock compressor that I got from Rougaroo. I can take some measurements and snap some images of it, if you'd like.

Not that.
Compress shock while still on the bike for removal

Van's tool is very clever, as usual.

I used a much simpler approach. Simple ratchet strap around the shock. Compress with weight on the hack wheel while cranking the strap tight. A little harder to recompress the shock off the bike but doable.

Here's a pic of the shock compressed with the ratchet strap.

Rear shocks on my Dnepr are a PITA (leading link is Ural and no problem.)
