Camera runs about $130 at Target and holds up to 30 minutes video on it's hard drive. Basically a point and shoot with decent zoom. Video quality is quite good as well as the internal mic. Best part is th ease of loading into your computer. It has a 'flip' out USB connection and comes with install software for your computer. I don't have one yet but Redflasher does and has posted some clips on this site.

I'm looking at getting one very soon.

The camera comes in three models, and numerous colors.

Wal mart has the F130 for $149.00 It will me marked with a letter after the digits designating the color- F130W is the 30 minute white for example.
They have a F160 which is a 60 minute video.
The newest model is the F260 (60 minutes). I picked up the F260B (black) from Sams Club for $144.00. ($5 cheaper than the cheapo model from Wal Mart, who owns sams Club-go figure).

If your going to spend that kind of money go to the Aiptek web site and look at the models they have. I have a DZO-V58N which will hold a 4gig SD card and up to 10 hours of movies. A better deal all around. It shows up as a movable hard drive and just cut and paste to move files to you computer.

I believe the height of the bolt is necessary for the lens to "see" over the windshield apron.

At least that's how it looks to me....

This is a project in transition. I am sure as time goes on, I will adapt the sizes of the bolt, add rubber washers, etc.

Took it out for a test run. It was a little loose, and vibrated some. The run was hwy 276 to the parkway, over 20 minutes. Some of the video showed the treetops, as it vibrated out of position some. It was a spirited run, squealing tires and all, but when I played it back the position made it seem like a gentle sunday ride. :(
If I can figure out how to edit it and upload it to you tube, I'll post a link here.
