'75 15Hp Wards SeaKing (Chrysler) outboard with a fuel pump problem I can't solve
'83 9.9Hp Johnson outboard with a blown powerhead that's my brother-in-laws grandfathers. Found a '82 Evinrude 15Hp with mouse damage that's sat almost unused since new for $100 with stand & OEM metal gas can. Refresh the 15Hp power head and install on 9.9 lower, sell the extra parts and come out even?!?

But the biggest push, 2nd kid on the way in April....so finishing out the basement to make a new office for the wife who's teaching from home to make the upstairs office back into a bedroom.

They didn't, but a lot got imported to the US from Canada, same with the RG500 and RZ500, you would see them for sale here and someone would snatch them up and sell for double in the states.

I used to go to the dealer that had the last NS400 in canada still for sale every week and drool over it, but i was young with no money. took me almost 30 years before i finally got one, and had to buy a japan import, but i have the parts to make it look like an orig Canadian bike.

I am not sure an LED bulb will work well in a Hella H4 glass.
I DO know that a 35w HID bulb with the ballast (about size of pack of cards) will work just great!
Actually, if you can find a Cibie 7" lens,it is even better than the Hella. The Cibie is curved front, not flat,
so it even looks appropriate. and is less prone to crack from rocks.

The problem with LED stuff is there is usually only 1 light source location, and it is NOT where the H4 bulb bright light source is located. By that, I mean forward and back is crappy on LED lights, and triangle $#!+ sux.

It is a bit more effort to fit all behind the headlight housing, but can be done. I really like the HID more than the LED because it has a better light pattern to be "aim-able".

I acquired the Hella 7" fixture for free, so I'm not too scared on breaking it cause I've got nothing invested. I picked up an inexpensive "rock guard" off Amazon mainly for looks but if it gives me 15% better protection so be it.

I have this LED bulb in my Yamaha Venture, my buddies Kawaski KLR & Vulcan Nomad. They come in packs of 2, so I have a spare laying around. It fits the Hella fixture and SHOULD fit into the Ural bucket.

Yes, somewhere in the back of the spare parts cabinet I have a 35w bi-Zenon 4500K HID. If things go south I have a back-up option.

I'm not as ambitious as you other guys, but since I was in covid-19 lockdown, I painted my house, just finished around Christmas. I'm still putting new trim on our window box. Next is new window coverings and carpet for the inside.

I'm inclined to agree with your Ministry of Transport here, Mike.

We've our fair share of vehicles here with Amazon or eBay LED "upgrades" that either aren't aimed correctly, or perhaps are aimed correctly but are also plainly incompatible with the reflector in which they're installed. A bit of belt tightening is in order.

I grant that such rules are easy to circumvent: replace the offending bulbs with the OEMs on inspection day, and reinstall the baddies when one arrives home. Still, any step in the right direction is just that.
