If so, do you recollect a URAL tour of Northern Russia, possibly some of Siberia, leaving from the Orbit factory, about 15 years ago? Loaded with pics and a good narrative.

that sounds like the trip Sid Pollard did. Check on the old Russian Iron site. This is a little bit before Van's time. if you want to contact Van, go to his Face book page "Ural Riders and Lovers". Another sure fire way would be to reach out to Illiya Khalit at head of IMZ in Redmond. Best way to do that is to go to the Ural Face Book page.
