A clean garage is sign of a messy mind.

Maybe I'm looking for an award. I dont know. But what is the norm for messiness or cleanliness in your garage or shop ?

Not bad, but those Coors/Coors Light/Bud Light (and is that a Miller) cans could be lined up a tad better.

Only the lazy guys clean up, the genius overlooks the chaos...

That said I have to admit that I am very thankful to my son that he made already twice in my absence the sacrifice to clean up my shop... each time several truck loads went for recycling. I do not know, and better do not try to think about it, how much useful materials went down the loo, but it was each time a relieve to have less projects on the list and I could from then on concentrate on the primary priority jobs.

Wow! I moved into my house a bit over a year ago. Recently I began making my garage usable.
From this:

to this, so far:

it's coming along nicely, although far from a finished man-cave!

I have been cleaning up (really cleaning up) my garage and outside basement which is a sorta over-flow garage for about a month now.
Most of my mess can be hidden behind the too many bikes I own. Going thru another Winter of doing the "limbo" to get around in there or find the most common tool/part has finally gotten to me. Sold two (2) bikes ('69 BMW /2 & '95 BMW K75) over the last few months and thinking about selling one of my Dual-Sports too. And have sold or given away a bunch of parts & gear. In fact posting some of it here on SS soon.
Still have a ways to go after 23 years in the same house/garage. Think I'm seeing the light... I think?
