Came across this on the Ural New Zealand site (was looking cause of another thread). It’s apparently a Ural Cross...... interesting.

Mm. My mind instantly went to "Bug Out Ural" when I saw the sidecar configuration pictured in the OP's post. The investment wouldn't make much sense, though, as a properly set-up dual sport has long held the Bug Out Motorcycle crown. Still, I could have some fun outfitting the Ural Cross to at least make it look the part.

Looks like it uses the stock car chassis, so it shouldn't be too hard to slap something together ... have fun with it!

$195 for a shovel and axe?!? Who do they think we are, the US military procurement division?! I'll mount it next to my $650 toilet seat...

The accessory prices are definitely optimistic in typical Ural NE manner.

The Uralcross tubs are hand made in limited quantities by Hari Schwaighofer of Ural Shop in Austria with a retail price of $3200 .

DMC's retail price for their enduro sidecar is $5000 . With storage compartments like the Uralcross its close to $6000 .

Oh don't get me wrong, I think the sidecar looks very cool and functional in a Mad Max sort of way. I'd gladly run one. It's got a perfect place to mount a minigun. :)
