By the looks of your signature, it looks like you know what you're getting into. Most of the running gear should be similar to the MT11 aside from the 2wd. Most of the 6v electrics and motor should be similar to the M72.

Gotta love the exhaust note on those low compression sidevalves :)

Cool. It'll be a fun outfit. I love flatheads. Bone simple tech. One'a those true oldschool examples of "if ya got spark(some), fuel(any), compression(some), it'll run". It'll require a bit more frequent hands on adjustments to keep running at max power/efficiency but nothing techno or expensive. It'll never be fast even by Ural standards but if maintained...bag-o-hammers reliable.
Enjoy.

If it's a real one, it's the best military bike KMZ/Dnepr ever made.
Good luck...

Propwash, not sure if you are pulling my leg or telling me the truth, either way I got what I wanted.
Dneplover - glad to see you posting, was worried we lost you a few months ago.

Sorry it took me so long to respond, my Father passed on Labor Day, been busy traveling to PA, dealing with the issues. Just got home yesterday and finally got a chance to sit down and take some time to myself.

I'm just pulling your leg. There is a very easy way to tell - the 2WD engagement handle mount on the right-side frame. See attached. Enjoy the MV!

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Thanks. I recall the discussion on the mount. I got plates for it prior to flying out to PA, put plates on today and took a couple runs around the neighbor hood..
