How Quick is your Ural?

Post by cateyetech » Tue Jul 16, 2019 1:15 am

How Quick is your Ural?

Doing a little test & tune on the 00
1-50mhp (the range we use the most)
using a App called Car Performance to check the rum times
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... free&hl=en
I set the start @ 1mph so I can start the app and start the run when I'm ready
the run timer will start automatically

I ran Daisy and realized after the last run I was running out of fuel and needed to switch to reserve :feelsgood:
so I'll have to do it again when the rain stopes

Here is the 00

The only Ural to post a second gear wheelie

Thanks DaveO, I'll try to ride it like you, I'll try :foilhead:

First time I've ever seen the words Quick and Ural used in the same sentence, with the exception of discussions about break-downs and rust.

Heidel has had a 2019 up to 83 mph and acceleration was not lagging (forget what model)

I have had the cT up to 70. That is plenty for me right now but I was not throttle limited.

On my pickup trip (2000 miles) I did 20% at 65 mph just fine.

I actually have that exact sticker on the back of mine.

I've got to get me one of them stickers!

It's not just the engine power. It's how safe it feels, or not.

Howdy Charlie,

Great to see DaveO's rig on the road again, I can't begin to tell you how much FUN I had riding with DaveO and Jan, back in our Death Valley rambling days. That rig could run hard I couldn't hang with him in the corners but I'd catch him in the straights. I miss DaveO, hell of a rider and good man all around.
