Very cool! :D You are creating some memories to last a lifetime. My son loves to ride also, he accuses me of "hogging the bike". We went out yesterday and practiced lifting the chair and then got an ice cream.

Good to see the sharing of the Ural.

As always I advise not just a helmet, but gloves, good boots sleeved shirt and long pant with some degree of protection.

I know it gets hot, been in downtown Honolulu at 85 degrees with the whole ensemble on, but its getting into he habit.

And I am one of those who took years to get to wear a helmet bycyling. Always did when I got my first road cycle (my brother threatened me!).

I am grateful my bike sale guy always pushed it. He could have lost a sale but was willing to do that vs seeing someone ride without it. Set the example for my wife when she got her recumbent bybicle.

All those years as a kid when they did not exist (or for sure where I lived). Hard to break that habitat. Now I won't test ride a fix on mine without it.

Very cool! My dear old Dad had given up his bike by the time we were old enough to learn. Tell your kid to pass it on.

Now, I keep a 1986 Honda 80cc scooter just for training. The smile at the end always makes it worth it.
