Now it makes sense. GySgt Emery had to leave first, there had to be a Marine on stand by to escort the First Lady through Heaven's Gates...

I rode to N Cal to see the red woods, the site is named after her since she provided the money to save the trees.
When I find the picture, i will post it.

She was a big supporter of the children's hospital services in Portland. A patient of mine took his daughter there many times for the extensive care she needed. On more than one occasion he ran into her in the hospital. He described her as a very kind and caring individual who exuded class in every act. In fact, the same is said by people I know who live in the Kennebunk area about the entire family. We need more people like that in the White House.
