I ask mainly because I don't ever recall reading that particular problem here on SS, but then again my memory isn't the best :o
Clutch cable lut of adjustment (too loose) most common.

Do you think someone may have been jumping on it to try to break it? Maybe to further his case against Urals? I dunno.... Just sayin'..... :?:

At this point I say let him have at it. If he wants to crush a perfectly repairable rig then go for it. Surely people see the inherent irrationality in that and any genuine support would come from equally irrational people. No ill will or judgment against the guy. This community is one of the most helpful and friendly I've come across. The new faces I've met after a two year break are cut from the same cloth of the rest of the community. There's no room for a negative, unhinged personality like that.

Well spoken Mike!!! It's not worth the effort following that logic! All three of these vehicles have let me down at some point, I fix them and carry on!! Each have provided enough positive reinforcement that I clean them and provide the best maintenance I can! If something goes wrong I'll deal with it with more composure. SS is a wealth of information and invaluable to new owners

Video is "unavailable" when I looked... but I don't get it. Why would a company that sells Ural accessories and asks "Why should you convert your Ural using Kalaber Creations Conversion Kit?" in any way associate or support UG crushing his rig? Maybe I don't understand their angle but I have to say...
1) As a Ural owner, if they support UG I wouldn't buy water from them if I was on fire.
2) As a potential Ural owner doing research, it would suggest I not buy a Ural thus also buy nothing from them.

Seems a strange advertising strategy to me.

I'd like to think that, "If you ignore it, it will go away." Unfortunately, it seems like most folks aren't interested in ignoring the Ural Guy and his retarded antics. :(
