Be very careful about the use of that link. It is ONLY used to set the operating arms parallel to each other. Any attempt to use it to adjust brake shoe contact with the drum will result in severely impaired braking capability. Cut yourself a sheet aluminium angle template for setting the arm angle ( as per the book) and set the arms to that. On a Ural, shoe adjustment is only set using the screws on the end of each shoe.
To refer to it as making shoe adjustment a lot easier, is extremely misleading.
