Alright, hack nose voters - you win.

After a lovely day of exploring back-roads in the local area with the missus in the hack, I asked her to help me decide where to mount the bottle opener. She chose the most prominent position.

Even though I've perforated the 'Chernobyl's hack like Swiss cheese and despite the fact that this is just a crappy old RPOC, it took a lot of willpower to bore three 4mm holes into the nose of the hack. Something about that area just feels taboo to me.

While not the most efficient bottle opener ever, it works well on my "apple juice" and opens bottles with panache.

The only thing this bike really needs now is for me to get this uncomfortable engine vibration in check. It's a real "hand-tingler" on a long ride. Perhaps, if the bike survives this "Weekend of a Thousand Rides" I have planned with Lokiboy, I'll pull the jugs, weigh the pistons, and do my mass equalization trick.

I love the placement. It confirms my good taste.
Speaking of good taste, I share your love of apple flavored adult beverages. However, we do not get many non name brands through our stores out here. All the micro-breweries are busy with ales, IPAs and Sours in my neck of the plains. :( I have been thinking of seeing if I can get something shipped out here. Would you mind listing some of your favorites you have found?

I'm pleased that I have your moderate approval, Mike.
Would you mind listing some of your favorites you have found?
I discovered Strongbow while deployed overseas and, for years, it was my go-to bottled alco-beverage, since I don't enjoy the bitter taste of hops. Then, they changed the formula and it just wasn't as crisp and refreshing.
-

-
I can enjoy a Redd's Apple Ale; they're all right.
-

-
I've never cared for any of the Woodchuck varietals. The balance of crispness (none), sweetness (too much), and flavor (gross) isn't right, to me.
-

-
But my Bold Rock Virginia Apple, man that stuff just lights up the pleasure centers in my brain. It's sweet, but not diabetes sweet. It's crisp, but not Pop-Rocks candy crisp. And the flavor, it's like drinking a Granny Smith apple. Love that stuff.
-

-
Bold Rock makes other varieties, most of which are pretty good, but none pleases me as much as Virginia Apple.

If you can't find a way to source it online, let me know and I'll ship you some. Since it's brewed a half-hour from my house, it's in all the stores 'round here.

Thank you sir! I knew you'd give a detailed report. I'll see if I can find me some Bold Rock. Sounds like right up my alley.
