Had to pick up my wife after her car died, as tow trucks aren't carrying passengers due to covid. After determining it was the alternator, I went back out to get one.

I sure wish my wifes Toyota was as reliable as my Ural....... :?

I rode around near the house and took some pictures at the cemetery next to my neighborhood, then went home and picked up my wife to go out to eat. This was her coldest ride on any motorcycle so far, at 31F. She said the new windshield, the short one, works well to keep the wind off of her, and she was okay. She had a wool blanket over her as well. We have a sidecar door on the way, which should help keep a bit more wind out. I am happy she was willing to ride, and enjoyed it.

I should say that's only the east side of the town, but possibly the best-looking half.

Propane.

Been thinking of getting one to replace our Kerosene heaters for when we loose power. Propane is a lot cheaper, and easer to find locally these days.

Brought home 2 4x4x8’ and 6 2x4x8’ pressure treated lumber from the lumber yard on it, piece of cake. Got some strange looks from the yard workers though.

Probably no stranger than when I brought a 12 foot butcher block countertop home with my Ural.
It's my pick-up truck now.

Took the Ural out today for a windshield test. I just put it on last week. I like it a lot, helps out very nicely and keeps the wind off my chest. My left shoulder is bad, so much less strain on it.
Went to a local place called Dirtbag Ales, they had some Scottish Highland games stuff going on...in December?? Not sure what time of yr the Scotts do it, but I didn't think it was December...anyway, very interesting. I have never seen any of those type of activities...It was pretty cool..
