"It" is gone.

Post by thumper05flstsc » Thu Jun 16, 2016 1:08 pm

I sold "It" last week. "It" was the name my wife gave to my Rig when I bought it, she was not happy.

Since I sold it, I guess I've no real reason to hang out here any longer. I learned a lot about Urals from this site and thank you all for that. It made owning "It" a much better experience for me I'm sure.

I just want to say to those that I got along with, keep ural'n and having fun. To those that I didn't..........I guess I have nothing to say to you.

I bought a new ride yesterday, it is an Indian Springfield and I intend to ride the wheels off of it for as long as I can continue to ride.

Adios.

Didn't bring it home yet as my knee still isn't good enough. I was able to get a leg over it but wouldn't be able to use the rear brake yet. It's having a bunch of stuff installed by the dealer right now. Some performance some bling. I'm thinking I will be able to go pick it up in a couple more weeks if I keep improving the way the I have been. Really anxious to get it broke in and start cruising.

Here is a pic taken at he dealer yesterday right after I finished all the paperwork.

That thing falls on your knee, and you might want your hack back.

Good luck.

There are some real nice matching sidecars available for those Native American bikes.

Beautiful bike Thump. Ride it in good health and have fun. Is there a "Soap Box" over on the Indian Forums? :)
Adios.

No soap box over there. Everyone actually is very polite and seldom does anyone get their panties in a bunch. Not an easy adjustment for me but I am working through it.

Nice looking bike.

Still no way I would part with my 2015 GU, but I have been thinking about trading my 2003 Indian Chief for a new Indian Vintage or Springfield.

If not already a member, you want to consider joining the Iron Indian Riders Association, good group of Indian riders.

Enjoy the new ride.

Good looking Chief you got there Doc. I joined that forum you linked a while back. Does not seem to be very active though and I haven't visited it for a while. In fact, I can't even remember my user name or password any longer. I will check out the Iron Indian Riders Association however.

Hey Thumper, Good lookin bike. I sold my GearUp "The Beast" a year ago for a Chief Vintage with a Hannigan SideCar. I still lerk here on occasion, I'll never forget my first love. Consider hacking the Sprinfield...best of both worlds.
