Nothing else, since I got the Ural I have no desire to be on 2 wheels anymore, the couple of times I had a loaner from my dealer while I was in for service I felt like a target so I'm staying with 3 wheels. :boogie:

What's in your garage?

Post by MikeVA76 » Sat Mar 28, 2015 8:53 am

Just my 2010 Taiga and a 2008 BMW R1200 R. I bought the r1200 in October of 2012 with 1800 miles and it now sits just over 42,000. For one year it did everything for me. Then the Ural came along and it got relegated to commuting only unless snow/ice is on the ground. The Ural was purchased on October 2013 with 12,000k. It's now at about 25k and does all bad weather commuting and is pretty much the only thing I take out on weekends. I'd like to add a "pretty" Ural, maybe a retro in red october. Obligatory pics

The 98 Ural is the one I'm working on getting going now. It had not been ridden since 2002. 337 original miles!

Hope these pics. work. I'm a lot better with metal than keyboards. The trike I built about 8 years ago. I made just about everything on it,the frame, front end, body, pounded the front fender out of 18 gauge, etc. The Suzuki started as an '08 S-40. I changed a lot. Remade the rear of the frame, modified the swing arm to fit the 18" wheel, made the exhaust, pounded out the fenders, moved forward controls to mid mount, etc.
