Greetings fellow Comrades,

We are working on purchasing a 2004 URAL Gear Up.... Less than 2500 miles for a really good price from what I can gather... Will post some photos when we get her home...

That sounds like the best possible situation. The break-in is mostly over. =P

Ride the wheels off of it!

Have a good one.

It will seem nuts, later, too, but you will have been assimilated into the URALBorg by then.

Hey Y'all,,,,,,,, Virginia checking in,,,,,,

Been riding bikes for about 45 years and this 98 Deco was one of my Dad's bikes that I inherited when he and Mom passed last year. My folks started dating on Dad's Indian at age 17 and they were still riding together in their early 80's. I miss them dearly.

The Deco has less than 400 miles on the odometer and hasn't been started in the last three years at least. Floats are stuck but I'm starting to get her back in shape after having made the 88 Electra Glide and 72 Servi-car back roadworthy again. Still working on the 93 Anniversary Ultra Classic sidecar rig's carb at present.

I hope to gain some knowledge about the Ural as it is a complete new animal to me. I hope to put the miles on it like Dad would have wanted to do!

Hello there guys,
I will post pictures of mi rig as soon as I get my hands on it  Dealer is expecting it this late this week so I won't get it until the week after  I am also a member of CURD and yesterday the old lady (Kimbo) and I met up with a goup of awesome people from the Western Division. We had a blast and Kim got her first ride on a sidecar. What a relief to see the ear to ear smile when Hillbilly brought her back to the parking lot!!! She wasn't all that enthuse with the idea of riding monkey, but now is all good!!!! she keeps saying when is that damn tank showing up. LOL

Looks like a grand collection of classic 2 and 3 wheelers...I wish we were neighbors!

I think some good pics posted here of the Deco would be in order, and this is the place to be for knowledge of how to get and keep these unusual rigs running...

Have fun!

Здравствуйте!
Hello! Just a new guy and future Ural owner checking in after lurking for a few days. These machines have been rattling around in the back of my brain for a few years then I finally became aware of a local dealer to check them out...some might say that was a mistake...after the test ride, that was it...I knew it..I HAD to have one.

I look forward to learning more, sharing etc. about these and other things in the future.

Geoff

Hi planeflyer21,
Yep, it's a 1979. Started life as a 310C but is now a Panther.
