The hack windscreen will fold down into the tub if the skirt is disconnected.
Sadly, many of them hit on the inside of the car when it folds down. Mine does. I folded it down shortly after installing the windshield, and it rested nicely on top, unfortunately it folded down farther as I rode, scratching the inside of the car in the process. I have since cut a rubber hose lengthwise, to slide over the windshield frame, to prevent that. I haven't finished figuring out how to prevent the issue, but I am working on it. For now the rubber hose works for short rides.
Actually I've read about that on here before. I don't have one, (it's a 2016 CT so didn't come with, as was normal for that year), and had no burning desire to have one TBH. I have ridden behind one as a monkey and I have to say it didn't seem to do a lot. Still needed full biking gear to keep warm, and even then I was still frozen and the turbulence was unpleasant. Seemed to be too far away.

I didn't want one on the hack, but my wife wanted it for the colder months. I opted for the short one. I definitely didn't want the tall one. The short one wasn't so bad in the Winter for me, the wind didn't hit me up high like it does with the normal height windshield. I got some blast on my leg from about the knee down. The windshield is just about perfect for her, she is 5' 3". She definitely likes it, and I may have a hard time getting her to ride without it. She says she is much warmer with the windshield. That coupled with the sidecar door made things nicer for her.

Update: As I wrote this, I asked her opinion of it. She said it definitely helped her stay warm on the cold days. I asked her if she still wanted it on the warm days, she said yes. I guess I am stuck with it.

So many pros and cons to the sidecar windshield, maybe this is why I get confused. :?

If you have a windshield I recommend attaching it with clevis pins instead of the bolts. I can attach or remove it in under a minute, no need to lower it into the tub.

Cuba Visit

I've wanted to visit Cuba for some time now. This morning decided it was finally time.
About a two hour ride from ABQ with a 1900 ft climb in elevation.
A little surprised, I thought I'd see a lot more Cubans. Checked when I got back, current population 761.
Also didn't see any of those old refurbished auto's they always show in the TV shows while talking about the Castro's.

Went for a long circular ride, some city, some highway... Victory Blvd. east, 170 FWY south, 101FWY south, Gower exit, Hollywood Blvd, La Brea Ave, Sunset west, PCH, Malibu Canyon, Mulholland Highway west to the Rock Store... After an our...Back on Mulholland east, Topanga Canyon north, Victory Blvd. east, home. 120 kilometers.
Going west on Sunset Boulevard toward Beverly Hills saw another Ural. It was a black Retro with three people.

I checked Google Earth on Cuba, NM. You know it's a real hot bed when the photos are of the "Copper Mug Liquor" store, Family Dollar, Circle K and laundromat.

BTW if you look for Cuba, MN instead of Cuba, NM there nothing but a cross road there labeled Cuba Township.

Could be. There are eight Cubas in the U.S. besides Cuba, Missouri: Cuba, Alabama; Cuba, Illinois; Cuba, Kansas; Cuba, New Mexico; Cuba (village), New York; Cuba, (town), New York; Cuba City, Wisconsin; and Cuba Township, Minnesota. Do a search for Springfield, I think there's one in each state and a couple in Canada. :P

Wife told me it's time for a new map, and a refresher course in geography.
I did stop at the Circle K for coffee and gas.
