Re: 2011 vs 2015 - both brand new - looking for input

harryball,
The tuner of Ural is available from Dobeck Performance. However with the latest map from Ural it doesn't sound like it is needed.
Who are the others that have needed EFI work other than new maps and balancing?
I do my own balancing like many others here.

Looks like a leftka air box. Neat if it will fit.

Re: 2011 vs 2015 - both brand new - looking for input

mikejjway,
I'd consider waiting for the 2016 Ural announcements before I bought any Ural. Should be out after the first of the year or so.
There will still be new leftover Urals available at dealers and good buys on nice used ones too.

Re: 2011 vs 2015 - both brand new - looking for input

Don't forget the rear disks on the cT. Also the cT warranty is two years. No brake or drive shaft issues on my cT. The FD was leaking so was replaced under warranty. Mapping issue is fixed with the new OR map. Actually I have done very little to the EFI. Carbs on my 2012 took a bit of fiddling to ge...

Re: Tuner - first Look

Is it better to use the leaner old OR map with the EJK or the new OR map with the EJK or just the new OR map?

My cT seems to be pretty good with just the ceramic coated headers and the old OR map so I am not in a rush to do anything.
(Except for the long warm up period.)

Re: A new hope (Advice)

Squip,
I'd look for a rig already put together. Seems like they go for less that the sum of the two parts.
Lots get posted here.

^^^^^^
That is great! Good job Ural headquarters.
I'd put heavy duty rim strips, tape, and tubes in if it was my wheels. How are the tires?

Re: Ural ct rear hub size?

jgia,
Don't quite understand the reason for the questions about the cT hub. What are you planning to do? Spare?
I'm still up in the air about a spare for my cT.
Also I looked through your photos and wonder what brand is your riding suit?

Re: WTB: Batwing Fairing or Windshield

I took the fairing off my cT when I hauled it in the back of my truck from NC to FL for the winter and haven't put it back on. Kinda undecided on keeping it.

Hell, Gobium invented it. How do you think he can afford to have such a large fleet of Urals?

Re: 2015 issues

dcsmitty, Damn, that is a lot of issues with your new cT. Just passed 8k km on my cT with the FD leak (replaced and not leaking now) being the only problem so far. Knock on wood. She is running so well now with old OR map I'm gonna leave her be for a while and not do the map upgrade for a while. Don...
