I was riding on the hot pavement the other day, and the pavement was literally melting...getting gooey...my shoes stuck to the pavement goo at a couple of traffic lights...(I'm riding a Solo, before you say huh?)...that was weird.....

It sure looks like the same bike, here are a few pics, from way back in 2015...my bike is (was) the Green Patrol, and another friend of mine was on his camo Gear-Up.'

Re: WTB- in Colorado No longer. I now have one.
I heard the tank 'tool box' was actually put there back in wartime to carry a small semi auto handgun. Of course, back then there was a thumb or twist lock, not a key operated lock. It IS just about the right size for a small-framed pistol.
But as pointed out above, who REALLY knows....

Re: engine accelerates w/o using throttle
Its a tongue-in-cheek joke that apparently went over your head. The little emoji is a hint. So many owners have heard things like that from the dealers, its a standard 'joke' now days. When the answers have been provided, and the problem is on its way to being solved, its kind of obvious it's a joke...

Re: What is YOUR average yearly miles?
Yeah, some Urals are relegated to parade duty, or what we call DQ Riders. (ride to the Dairy Queen every other Sunday). I put a fair amount of kilometers on my Ural Patrol when I had it, considering I was still working and could not ride as much as I would have liked. But now, I only have the Ural S...

Re: I am a NEWBIE!
Wow! SLOW DOWN and get a lot of practice at slower speeds. These bikes require a lot more 'body english' than maybe you realize. On the sharp or hard right turns, lean your body into them, and when preparing for a long right-hand sweeper, scoot your butt over towards the sidecar, and do what we call...
